The Department of Petroleum Engineering at the College of Engineering, University of Kerbala, organized discussion sessions for graduation projects of fourth year students. The projects included a wide range of topics that advance the oil situation in Iraq. These sessions included each student presenting and explaining the importance of the project, studying and analyzing similar projects and setting their design standards and the programs used. Then, the results of the projects are analyzed leading to planning and design decisions and the student’s proposal to build the design idea.
The discussion committees, consisting of a number of lecturers from the Petroleum Engineering Department, praised the efforts of the students and their supervisors and presented their notes that can help the students correct and develop the design ideas that they will work on in detail and implement in the second semester of this academic year (2023-2024).
